Inspired by the maritime history surrounding the site, the façades recreate a mix of crane structures and alguaes.
It wraps around the front façade and gives places to bigger openings on the back section when facing the St-Lawrence river.

 

It is a play of the very strict rythm of vertical lines of the previous phase that is located on the side of our addition.

The building shape is twisted in order to optimize the views toward landmarks surrounding the spot.
